1. Personal Information We Collect and How.We collect personal information in several ways: 1) directly from you, when you sign up for an account, update your account, or provide it to us in correspondence; 2) from third parties like the brands you love and the websites you visit, as well as other sources; and 3) automatically through the technologies that enable our Services.

The information we collect directly from you includes name, email address, street address, telephone numbers, payment information for receipt of Minty Cashback, as well as your communication and consumer preferences.

If you contact us through one of our forms on our Site, we collect your name, email address, and other details about your question or issue. Providing your email address is required for us to respond, and we may eventually need to speak to you by phone, in which case we may request you provide your phone number.

To the extent we combine personal information with other information which in the aggregate would be identifying to an individual, we will treat the information as personal information under this Privacy Policy. Where we’ve aggregated or otherwise de-identified personal information such that it is no longer identifying, linked or identified to an individual, we will not treat that information as personal.

We collect individuals’ email addresses provided to us through the Website, and as part of our business through widgets, cookies and other technologies on our customers’ and partners’ websites.

We and our third party service providers also may automatically collect technical personal information from users of the Services, including:

  • Information about the device(s) you use to access the Website or the Services, which may include IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, device type, and device identifiers;
  • Information about your visits to the Website and to other websites provided by or controlled by third parties, including the full URL clickstream to, through, and from pages on the websites (including date and time);
  • Information we need and use to facilitate your use of the Services (including to provide access to third party websites and services), such as URL requests, destination IP addresses, email addresses, or device configuration details;
  • Pages you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

The technologies used for automatic data collection include “cookies” (small data files, including cookies, pixel tags, and/or other local storage provided by your browser or associated applications) on your computer, browser, mobile phone, or other devices. We may use both session cookies, which expire and no longer have any effect when you log out of your account or close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until you erase them or they expire. We also provide cookies to third party websites that facilitate our understanding of your interaction with those websites. We encode our cookies so that we or our third party service providers can interpret the information stored in them. You are free to decline cookies if permitted by your computer, browser, mobile phone, or other devices, although doing so may interfere with your use of some Services.

In order to get the best understanding of your interests, we may obtain personal information from third parties as well. Our customers may provide us with the email addresses of their customers or prospective customers. We may obtain personal information from advertising networks, data analytics providers, social networks, and consumer data resellers.

If someone chooses to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Website or one of our customer’s products or services, we will ask for the friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Website. Minty stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
